In Good Company with Yoki Hanley of Itiba Beauty
Join the Launch of In Good Company
In Good Company is a series of conversations featuring local business leaders held at Company House Hotel. These conversational meet-ups allow business owners to share their tips and ideas to guests, community members, and entrepreneurs. “In Good Company” meet-ups will feature local entrepreneurs and business owners.
To launch the first “In Good Company” is Yoki Hanley, founder, and owner of Itiba. Yoki originally made the organic skin and hair care products for her daughter who has allergies. The products, created and developed by Yoki using her knowledge of local herbs and medicinals, were a hit with friends, family and a growing number of fans. Itiba products were sold in high-end resorts across the Caribbean, in London boutiques, and shipped all over the world. In 2016, Yoki had a full production team and two stores. Then in 2017, the two hurricanes wiped her out. On this Special “In Good Company” we launch our new program and celebrate the relaunch of her company – Itiba.

About In Good Company:
The history of 2 Company Street, now Company House Hotel, has shown us that this property had been a business incubator as early as 1800s. Visiting professionals would stay here and advertise their services in the Avis, from dentists to piano tuners to early photographers.
Later on, this building was owned by the St. Croix Labor Union and housed the island’s first free newspaper. They were instrumental in making working conditions more equal for the black underclass of St. Croix.
This series is our way of continuing the tradition of empowering entrepreneurs and business owners and bringing them together in such a historic setting.
