Do you require a security deposit on my reservation?
A security deposit is required for all rooms. A credit card hold is placed on your credit card at check-in. If a guest does not have a credit card or wishes not to use one, they may put down $250 cash/night as a hold.
What is the maximum number of persons allowed per room?
The maximum number of persons allowed to stay in a Company House Hotel room with a King-sized bed is 3 persons.
The maximum number of persons allowed to stay in a Company House Hotel room with two Queen-sized bed is 4 persons.
What is the minimum age for a guest to book a hotel room?
There must be at least one (1) guest age 21 or older on the reservation and staying in the room.
What time is check in and check out?
Check in is at 3:00 pm and checkout is at 11:00 am
Is there a gym in the hotel?
Is there an ATM at the hotel?
There is an ATM in the lobby of the hotel. The ATM fee is less here than the one at First Bank down the street.
Is there a dress code at the hotel or in Christiansted?
Guests wearing swimsuits should wear shirts, shoes and cover-ups when in public areas of the hotel and around town.
Can I drink the tap water?
We suggest you drink bottled water or refill your bottles from the water spigot on the ice machine on the first floor of the building.
Where can I smoke cigarettes?
Virgin Islands law prohibits smoking in the hotel rooms, on the balcony, porch or within 20 feet of a public building. Please smoke away from the building and dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
Do you have parking?
Please pull up into the loading zone in front of the hotel for check-in and out. Christiansted has street parking. Depending on your time of arrival,l it may be more or less difficult to find parking. Be sure to avoid parking in a tow away zone. If you cannot find parking, please ask our Front Desk Agent to direct you to our Caravelle parking lot. We will gladly arrange for our shuttle to drive you back to the hotel.
How do I call the Caravelle Casino shuttle?
You can ask any of our Front Desk Agents to call the shuttle. To call directly for the shuttle, dial l 340-277-7156 x601.
Where did you purchase your furniture both in the lobby and rooms?
Most of our furniture was purchased off-island, but some of it was purchased at Sweet Lime Furniture, mid-island.
Do you have any local rates?
We are not offering any local rates at the moment; however, we will be running promotions throughout the year, so please check our website or social media for those offers.
How old is the building?
We know the history of the building through the 1700s, when street numbers were established. It may be older than that, but the street side building has been present and owned by 28 different people or organizations through present. More about the building’s history.
How long did the 2018 renovation take to complete?
The most recent renovations on the hotel took just over a year. However, as a historic building, we are always renovating and repairing the building.

Can I upgrade my current room for a room with a better view?
Yes, our front desk staff can offer a room of equal price value. If another type of room is available, we may be able to upgrade you for an additional charge.
Can I check-in early?
Please speak with the front desk to request an early check-in. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. If your room is unavailable, we would be happy to hold your bags at the front desk and let you explore the island before you check-in.
Can I check-out late?
Please speak with the front desk to request a late check-out. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. If we require the room for a guest checking in that afternoon, we can hold your bags at the front desk until your transportation is available.
Do you allow pets?
Company House Hotel does not allow pets, except for service animals as required by law.

What is the operating hours for the shuttle service? How far will the shuttle take me?
Monday – Thursday: 8am – Midnight
Friday – Saturday: 8am – 2am
Sundays: 10a – Midnight
The shuttle runs the same hours as Caravelle Casino.
You can take you around Christiansted town and not outside of it.

Taxi rides vary based on location, always best to call driver and verify before getting into the vehicle.
